Love him or hate him, he sure hits the nail on the head with this! Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

不管你喜愛或是討厭比爾蓋茲，他的確一針見血的說出了教育的問題！

比爾蓋茲最近在一所高中的演講中提到了１１件事，是學生不曾學過，學校也永遠不會教你的事情。他談到這些我們成人所感覺不錯的，被仔細修正過的教學方式造就了這世代的青少年對"現實"的存在毫無概念，以及這樣的教育概念讓這群孩子在面對現實世界時注定是失敗的！

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
"人生原本就沒有公平可言"--趕快習慣這句話吧！　

Rule 2 : The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
這個世界對你的自尊毫不在意！它要求你在準備好之前就要你達成目標！

Rule 3 : You will NOT make $ 60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
你剛從高中畢業絕不會一年有兩百萬台幣的薪資，除非你可以幫公司賺到大錢，否則你也不會馬上被某公司聘請為副總裁還配有汽車電話！　

Rule 4 : If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
如果你現在認為你的老師很嚴厲，那等著瞧你的老闆是什麼德行吧！

Rule 5 : Flipping burgers is not beneath you r dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
煎漢堡肉並不會有損你的尊嚴，對你的祖父母而言，"煎漢堡肉"代表的是一個工作機會！

Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
如果你搞砸了，絕對不是你父母的錯！所以不要在那邊哀聲嘆氣，趕快從錯誤中學習吧！

Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
你的父母可不是像今天這樣的無趣，他們在你出生之前也是懂得享受生活的！他們之所以變成今天這個樣子是因為他要支付＂你＂的帳單，清洗＂你＂的衣物和聽你訴說＂你＂現在有多酷！所以在你準備拯救雨林之前，請先整理好你自己的衣櫃吧！

Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
學校裡面可能已經替成功與失敗做了一番詮釋，但是人生的成功與失敗卻還沒有定論！現在很多學校已經廢除了不及格的制度，他們會給你不斷的機會直到你答對為止，可是現實人生卻完全不是這麼回事！

Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time..
人生不會區隔成上下學期，你沒有暑假不說，大多數的老闆也對你尋找自我一點興趣也沒有！請花你自己的時間去尋找你的人生！工作就是工作！

Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
電視裡的人生不是真實的人生！現實生活中你不可能每天泡在咖啡館中，每個人都必須去工作！

Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.
對你討厭的笨蛋好一點，因為他有一天可能會變成你的老闆！
